Get Garibaldi for 60M on Deadline day

It’s universally agreed that the young Garibaldi is currently the best player in the world, and there are constant rumours surrounding his future. Many believe that he will become available in a transfer window very soon. If that happens, a relationship with his father/agent for a small consulting gig might be a good idea.

If you hire Garibaldi Sr., he will make sure that you get to sign his son for 60M if he becomes available on Deadline day. It’s a big if, but it might be worth the small investment.

If Garibaldi has already signed for a club by the time Garibaldi Sr. comes along, there is no value in hiring him as a Key staff member.

Q&A – Key Staff

Key staff members can’t be sold to the bank. You have to fire them without compensation if you wish to hire a new Key staff member. You can sell them to another manager if the two of you can agree on a deal.

You can use one of your investments to hire key staff. These come with a variety of advantages that lasts throughout the game. The price of hiring them is found at the bottom of the card. If you want to hire key staff, pick 2 cards and hire 1 or none. Even if you end up not hiring any of them, you still spend one investment action.

You have three available slots for Key staff members. If you wish to hire an additional Key staff member but have already filled all three slots, you must first:

a) Fire one of your current Key staff members (without compensation), or
b) Sell one of them to another manager.

Yes. Remember to add the bonus at the appropriate time. If you forget, you can not go back in time to claim your bonus.

Which slot you place a Key staff member in is irrelevant. A Key staff member giving an attacking bonus can be placed in, for example, the middle slot. It’s up to you.

Key staff members are available in Superclub (Base game), Top Six expansion and Powerhouses expansion.
